Check thermostat settings to ensure they communicate properly with the equipment.
Validate all system safety circuits for proper function.
Inspect the indoor coil and drain pan; confirm correct pitch and add a treatment tablet.
Verify blower motor speed; inspect bearings, check for oil loss, and ensure proper balance.
Clean the outdoor condenser coil using approved chemicals, if permitted by the manufacturer.
Inspect refrigerant tubing and coils for visible leaks or damage.
